Dear Heavenly Father:

We bow down before you asking for forgiveness of our sinful nature. We ask for a calmness be placed upon Mitt Romney tonight. We ask for eyes and ears across this nation to be opened to the good and evil on this debate tonight. Give Mitt Romney a clear and open mind to be able to speak with knowledge and clear facts. We give you all the glory and praise for these things we ask in your most previous name.

Amen

A prayer is never just a just. Prayer is speaking to our Almighty and compassionate God. Prayer is changing things forever. With prayer we are not merely watchers of the debate, but powerful participators. Prayer shows God that we understand that it is He who determines history, and we are putting our faith in Him into action.

I both prayed and fasted for this debate. I reveal this in hopes that others will pray and fast about this upcoming election. Fasting is our way of showing God just how serious we are about our prayer requests. Fasting always accompanied prayer whenever the people who lived in the time of The Bible were really serious about their requests to God. This election is really serious for our entire Country and the future of our children. Let's be seriously involved in it's outcome by prayer and fasting to Almighty God.

Amen Bellflower.
There is a really good book out called The Prayer Ministry of the Church that talks about the importance of standing together with one another in prayer. it is a great read and really helpful in understanding “why pray if God is all powerful”, and also why there is so much spiritual resistance to it.

Thank you for standing together with all the brethren in prayer!

Thank you, Lord, for answering our prayers ... grace was given to Governor Romney and unseemliness was given to President Obama. May we not neglect your admonition, to pray for those in authority over us, for you are not willing that any should perish.

Open the eyes of the people, O Lord, to the reality of this election ... may we choose wisely and well. We come against any and all forms of backlash and fraud, and in the Name of Jesus, we send them back into the pit from whence they come. Cleanse us, Heavenly Father, that we, through you, might cleanse this land.

In the Name of Jesus, may it be so, Amen ...
