WASHINGTON - Several members of the D.C. Council have come out in favor of restricting the sizes of sugary sodas sold in the District - a ban similar to one in New York City.
At a recent debate between candidates for the at-large council seats, current Councilmembers Michael Brown and Vincent Orange said without hesitation they would vote to ban the sale of large drinks.

I am so happy that they solved all the crimes, unemployment and other criminal acts that they have time to sit around and discuss this.

Obviously the politicians of DC know that the people who voted them into office are too stupid to know what’s right for themselves.
And that is the problem in DC and most other cities in America. I really don't care what happens to these people, I just don't want a single penny of the taxes that I pay for to help fund any of their ignorance.
It is Mommy’s job to restrict a toddler’s consumption of “unhealthy” food and drinks. Anyone who wants government in that role must see the citizenry as crippled (which is how I see Obama voters) government as wise and benign (which is most definitely not how I see government). Those who support this proposal must have incredibly sad lives.
