The Wave That Breaks The Liberal Bubble
The American Thinker ^ | 10-24-2012 | C. Edmund Wright

Can you feel it?

The wave, that is. I speak of one that will wash away far more than just a failed presidency. This wave will have the torque to rock the entire liberal bubble -- the political/media/crony bubble -- leaving it forever exposed. Ironically, those inside this bubble will be the last to know -- which is precisely why it will happen. Those who would rule over us, and insult us with outrage over Big Bird, academic debate-scoring, "binders" memes, and specious jobs statistics know nothing about us. This includes those inside the bubble who purport to represent our views.

But we know them well. For the record, "we" refers to the quarter of the country that never bought into the fraudulent vapor of Obama

As a western PA poll watcher, I have been active in the TEA party and I am amazed and very hopeful from what I am seeing and hearing in stores, bars, golf courses, Church and work places that C. Edmund has nailed it...BIG TIME.

It looks like a tsunami is about to hit the left and that they are partying on the beach.

Maybe obama was a gift from God that woke the "sleeping giant".

I pray to God that it is a landslide of epic proportions.

t don’t know that Freepers are deluded so much as we are hopeful.

Anybody is better than obammy-—and maybe we can pull a few conservatives into House and Senate seats, and at least start to unravel some of the damage that has been done.

One election is not enough to bring this nation back to the vision of our forefathers-—but it would be a start.

Liberalism is pervasive in the US, including inside the GOP. it is naive to assume that electing someone like Romney is going to stem the tide in any meaningful way.

No, it's mostly delusion.

There was a thread posted the other night in which certain prominent posters were actually discussing what a great Conservative Romney had become, and how he would most assuredly govern to the Right, based solely on this debate performances and his website, never mind his thirty-year liberal political record.

look, as soon as you hard core conservatives can find a decent candidate, put them up for office. In the meanwhile, how about a little gratitude for those who have worked their heads off to counter the cronyism in our administration even if it isn’t as far along the continuum as you would like

What scares the bejeebers out of the dnc is the the comparison between the dim-0 way, and the Republican way of running an economy that will be presented if Romney wins. Beginning with W., who averaged 5.2% unemployment for his 8 years, and actually had a good economy, one that if obama had, would re elect him in a landslide. Then going to the obammunism we have endured for 4 years, then going into the Romney years where I FULLY expect Romney to break all time records for job creation.

obama claims that there is 2 TRILLION dollars sidelined, waiting for him to be gone. He wants you to believe the money is sidelined because business people would rather have him fail as prez,THAN TO MAKE MONEY!!

That is more money than porkulous, and without the hindrance of only being spent where it will help dim-0s get elected.
That

could be a trifecta...

libs cast out of the white house..

libs cast out of the legislature..

roberts ruling on fubocare that took away the commerce clause abuse, the necessary and proper clause abuse and the unfunded mandates abuse..

libs judicial activism cast out of the courts...

we would have all the tools to not only stop the progression, but to begin to reverse it..

november 7 could be the dawn of a new era..

I agree that the Republican Party by and large does not yet get it.

No, it doesn't. And right now, all the party hacks and operatives are licking their chops thinking that it will be back to business as usual as soon as Romney takes the oath of office----lots of spoils to go around for the party professionals, the TEA Party be damned.

This can't be said enough. And I'm appalled that a growing number of FReepers (who should know better) have deluded themselves into thinking that Romney has actually become a Conservative over the past three months and will govern that way, when his longstanding record clearly suggests otherwise.

His "longstanding record" consists of four years as gubernator of the USSM where 87% of the legislators were demonRATs and he didn't do all that evil that the Mitt haters attribute to him.

Do you really want 4 more years like the last 4?

How many virgil goode and/or gary johnson voters are voting for obama by not voting for Romney/Ryan?

I hope their wasted votes don't hurt the Country.

The thoughts verge on delusion. Such were the writings at the end of the Clinton administration. Here we are 16 years later and the scoundrels are more powerful than then

Until they are severely maimed economically, there will be a continuance of the lies and political chicanery.

So you're not a "hard core" Conservative, eh? I guess you're on the wrong site then.

Like most, I enjoy good conservative porn, but then reality once again intrudes.

People who concern themselves with politics simply are not serious. They don't understand the basic components of what drives events. Rather, they seem to believe that ambitious individuals will cease advancing their own cause(s) for the benefit of the People. LOL

Neither Romney nor Obama will mention that the US outsourced its monetary power 100 years ago. The private banking cartel that assumed this function has worked in conjunction with government to subsume all economic activity within the confines of debt.

The end result has been a hollowing out of US production, followed by a loss, in real terms, of middle-class purchasing power/wealth, and accompanied by unsustainable levels of debt.

Until this core issue is addressed, nothing is going to change. Indeed, without government running $trillion dollar deficits as a substitute for private consumption in order to maintain overall aggregate demand, this baby would have crashed and burned already.

But who wants to preside over revolution and/or civil war? Where's the margin in that? How does one enjoy a long-term Hawaiian vacation if all major support systems have ceased to properly function?

Get the picture? Nothing is going to change until real change (think 4 horsemen) shows up on the horizon. In the meantime, enjoy another drink and have fun perusing juvenile musings of 'redemption'.

It's hard to "cough up" our own Conservative candidates, when you've got THIS going on from our own feckless party...

Next for GOP leaders: Stopping Sarah Palin

...Democrats who now realize their party mislead them...

...With the help of a clearly partisan media. My teenage kids are now wise to the MSM by exposed examples of blatant bias.

ABC/CBS/NBC will not win them over, ever, but will only get their ridicule and distrust.

While I do think there is a wave, and I think Mitt will win, the public does NOT get-—or apparently want to get-—Benghazi. All the news in the world, even from the drive-bys, isn’t going to move the dials on this issue.
