The next time you are in DC try to get to the Friday night ceremony at the Marine Corps Barracks at 8th and I. THE MOST goose bump phenomenal event I have ever been to. And when they begin to play the Marine Corps Hymn practically a third of the spectators stand up and you realize they are all- young and old - Marines. The first time I went all I could think was I could have gone my entire life and missed seeing it. Fortunately I didn’t. p.s. if you call your congress critter he/she could get you reserved premium seats for the event.
