How do you fix Capitalism in America?.....
Its easy..... by much much more Capitalism..
What really ticks me off is that Cain didn’t have the same fight in him during the nomination process.

Well said Mr. Cain...
we said the same thing about McCain last time around. We wanted the aggressive A4 pilot and we got the milquetoast senator.
I agree with you strongly, and have the cancelled check to prove it.
I am getting ready to go off to my teaching job this morning and I have to tell you, I had this same incident occur in my Senior AP English class. My students were citing one American atrocity after another (the genocide of Native Americans, dropping the bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, the Japanese interment camps during World War II, etc.) I asked them if they had been taught anything good about America in their history class and one boy responded, “Yeah, that’s all we’re taught.” I asked him for specifics and he said, “...that we’re the greatest country in the world.” No specifics, no examples.
I began to ask them why it is, if America is so desperately wicked, people risk life and limb to get here? How come they aren’t flocking to ANY other nation on the planet in order to set up shop and begin to realize their dreams? How come we aren’t seeing a mass exodus of folks leaving America to go elsewhere?
Silence.
When they filed out of my classroom, it saddened me to realize that these students are virtually lost to “the dark side.” They will go off to colleges and universities next year and have all their misconceptions buttressed with more left-wing ideology.
For later
