There are cover-ups that the MSM covers and cover-ups that they don't like Benghazi.

My brother was wounded by friendly fire in Viet Nam. No headlines of course. These things do happen. His family knew, that was enough. The press always seems to find a way to skewer the truth while exaggerating.

The Benghazi incident and cover-up was pure evil.

Its sad, these things happen. Sometimes its unavoidable and sometimes its mistakes.

Other times its incompetence.

I am not convinced it’s better to know it was friendly fire, unless there was fragging involved.

It would be my take that his friend was trying to spare the family the anguish of learning it was a needless death.

He was a casualty of war. He died honorably. That would be my take-away.

My sympathy goes out to the family. It was such a shame to lose a guy that gave up a pro football contract, to serve his nation by choice. I admire the guy.

Two Brits were lost this week because of friendly fire in Afghanistan. One is a woman medic.

Very sorry to hear that. I would be devastated to think I had just taken out two of my own. And if it was the Brits, I would think of them as our own. You’d think in this day and age that an electronic device worn by our combatants would prevent this sort of thing.
