The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Specter gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours — enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

If this bit about the orbiting Spooky is true, it pretty much confirms all the stories (including the repeated delaying of the kill bin Laden mission) of a President paralized by indecisiveness at key decision points.

Though not directly stating it... does this not actually inform us that there might have been a AC-130 in the area ?
IF ? the security officer HAD a laser on a target ? would it not also mean that there was a AC-130 close by ?
Come on now, what ? the security officer had his or their laser on a target and had to wait 1 hour for the AC-130 to show up and take out the target ?
Ok... the security officer must have thought... " OK, I'll just sit here while I am being shot at and wait for the AC-130 for a hour while I hold this laser on my target " ... SARCASM......

You are correct. We have not seen info that an AC-130 was overhead. However, it begs the question, why were the operatives on the ground painting the target if a gunship was not overhead?

Possible but we'll never know unless there is a leak or a serious House investigation. Guess I'll put my money on the former. In the air at the time or not it seems to be coming out that an AC-130 could have gone from hangar to Benghazi in about two hours.

The security officer does not just sit there while requesting back up while at the same time being shot at and say:

" Ok.... I'll just sit here with my laser on my target and wait a hour for the AC-130 to show up " .....

IF ? he had his laser focused on a target in a critical situation while at the same time being shot at... they are not going to wait a hour for back up to show up... the plane must have been in the area with the laser on the target for it to be taken out.

The White House has "declined comment" on when Obama first learned of the Benghazi attack and when he met with his National Security Council.

The President's non-involvement may be what they are trying to hide...
