(AP) Absentee ballots may have been destroyed in crash TALLAHASSEE, Fla. Federal officials say that absentee ballots being sent to U.S. military serving in Afghanistan may have been burned in a plane crash.
A top official in the Federal Voting Assistance Program this week notified election officials across the nation that a transport plane crashed at Shindad Air Base on Oct. 19.
The crash resulted in the destruction of 4,700 pounds of mail inbound to troops serving in the area.

The mail being lost was a tragedy, but what about the crew? They would be my first concern. My thought too. Have they been hurt, or murdered to keep our Military from voting?

Holy cow. I know it would cost the tax payers a ton of money, but perhaps getting another plane load full of ballots over to Afghanistan and have the troops fill them out immediately would be the right thing to do. Yes I am sick and tired of tax payer waste but this one time, I would agree to this expense.

If you receive your State ballot after submitting the FWAB, vote and return the State ballot as well. You will only receive one vote as the State will only count your FWAB if the State ballot is not received by the deadline. If your State ballot is received by the deadline your State ballot will be counted and the FWAB will be disregarded.
Oh I am sure the bureaucrats will get that task down accurately. No way will this process be done 100 percent perfectly.

No kidding. Hell, they don’t even pretend to hide anymore.
If the military voted mostly democrat, their party would make double damn sure that they got to vote early and often.
Similar with the illegal mexicans: If they voted mostly republican, our border would be sealed off like East Berlin was.
