Agreed.. I wasn’t too comfortable when Mitt was talking openly about arming Syrian rebels in the last debate. Whats the point??

I must have missed that portion. Although I do remember him calling Zero out for not supporting the groups that wanted to take Iran back from the religious nutts.

Destroy Assad and thereby eliminate Syria as an Iranian surrogate. That will destroy Hezbollah and Syrian supported Hamas.

There are far more important international considerations than the conjured up Islamic world domination conspiracies. The clear path from the Gulf across Iraq and Syria will result in economic boom to the region

The end of Syria as an Iranian surrogate is the lifting of a large burden from the shoulders of Israel. The end of the Assad regime leaves the Iranians alone and thereby helps the Gulf states breathe easier.

The future is a mideast in which there is economic cooperation between the Gulf States and Turkey that will bring both peace and prosperity.

I read it on the very first reports after the incident happened. But I haven't seen anything referencing that since. But since Stevens is right there and now the story is he was helping in the coordination of arms to the Syrians perhaps he was involved in coordinating Ghadaffi’s assassination!
