This is a triggering event recently receiving for this Buoy off of Kona and the west side. (If I am reading this properly, we're looking at +/- 25m waves or about a 150ft differential.)

Fox Cable news is broadcasting local Honolulu news and they are reporting Tsunami 1st and 2nd waves of 1.5 feet, much lower than expected. They ware waiting for a trend to see if the Tsunami warning can be called off.

Wow, if Hawaii wasn’t already irrevocably in the tank for Obama, he could declare a pre-disaster and fly everyone in Hawaii to Las Vegas for a week, all expenses paid (a little walking-around money, too).
