Stevens' death was on purpose and planned months ago, Imho. Deny security, make sure the only protection he has be locals who are easily compromised. The locals tell the terror types where he is. Not very difficult to let nature take its course and the blame it all on everyone else. From Petraeus to Hillary to Panetta. When all the time the calls were made by zeros handlers.

I would not believe Dutch Ruppersberger if he told me it is raining! He is a Pelosi/Hoyer devotee and totally without scruples democrat.
I am not defending Petraeus, just saying ‘consider the source’ of this information about what Petraeus has supposedly said.
The man whispered, at Dover AFB as one of those Seal/Contractor’s body arrived “Has your son always had balls as big as cue balls?”....Whispered Nothing. Dad said he came over and boisterously (barroom style) and said it so everybody heard. I’d have punched him in the cue balls and sunk (the black) eight.
No good answer for Obie on this question. If not, then why not. If yes, then why weren't they used.
A month of this dribble seems to be affecting job approval ratings. Just in time.
Hurricane Sandy may be an answer to our prayers. She can only hurt early voters (which hurts Obie much more so than T-Partiers who will swim to the polls if necessary). Sandy also distracts administration from perpetual campaigning, and opens up potential for a costly mishandling (almost assured, given the general incompetence of this administration)

These guys are true American heroes.They deserve the highest civilian and military honors available and if they don't get them we need to be marching in dc.!! One of them was referenced to have said during his last moments,I always thought they would have come. Words that should go down in history!
It was planned alright in my opinion, but the plan went bad when some CIA guys living up to their oath as SEALS spoiled the kidnapping soup.

The fact that the story breaking may have led some to want to delay the deal until the story was buried but Ansar al-Sharia was having none of it. Hence the Turkish envoy holding a somewhat covert meeting with the Ambassador on 911 in an unprotected location. That meeting could not have been held at the Embassy in Tripoli just because of its nefarious nature.

Pray for the Election
This is one instance where the buck really does stop at the WH. Only the President can order US forces to initiate a military action in another country. It can't be left up to the military or SECSTATE or SECDEF. They can make recommendations, but only the President has the authority to make the decision.
Obama clearly made the decision, but he is not owning up to it. No doubt political considerations seem to have been the major factor. He deemed his own political career to be more important than the American lives under his command. Obama is the lowest of the low.
Sorry....friend, I have to disagree with you. General Petraeous needs to resign immediately as the head of the CIA, and.....then he must go public on all media vehicles throwing that dirt bag, POTUS Obama under the bus. Anything less and Petraeous will be known as the Benedict Arnold of 2012!!! End of story!!! Let us all see and witness what kind of American patriot General Petraeous is!!!!

IMO, it does matter because Obama made the call.
I agree that it was planned, but said one of those multifaceted plans went haywire. The likely armed drones were flying over Benghazi for a reason.
Am without TV today. Am I correct that only Fox is covering Libya? If so, any lingering doubt about the lamestream media being derelict is over.
Sandy also distracts administration from perpetual campaigning...I work midnights and heard on the radio that 0bummer cut short one of his campaign visits, golf outings, visits to the bath house, whatever, because he had to be in DC to command the coming disaster. I thought “ A nothing rainstorm, but a full fledged attack on American citizens he can’t handle?”
