I am a boots-on-the-ground veteran of Vietnam and I can’t stand Hanoi Jane, but that was a good movie.
I was hoping Hanoi Jane and her squeeze were moving to France.
Stewart was promoted to general after the war while he was in the reserves or the national guard (I don’t remember which). He flew bombing missions during WWII; which was a VERY dangerous thing to do. Interesting factoid, Stewart was so thin he had to go on a crash weight gain course to weigh the minimum for the Army Air Corps.

Fonda is a phony liar...(among other things). She always makes it sound like her life is wonderful when she is actually a miserable old hag.
QVC even pulled her book (before she ever appeared) over so many complaints from customers who said they would boycott them if they had her on.
