The Constitution says two things as I recall - states in charge of voting and specifically names the day voting occurs. I’m asking any Constitutional scholars out there to tell me whether voting can be postponed.

“I would not put it past the dems to try and postpone election or extend voting due to hurricane.”

The only states where the hurricane is going to hit where it could possibly matter from the perspective of the presidential race are PA and OH. The decision to extend voting would presumably be made at the state level. The Governor and Secretaries of State of those states would presumably be making that decision. And what do all those folks happen to have in common?

They’re all members of the gop.
