Two days after the deadly Libya terror attack, representatives of the FBI and National Counterterrorism Center gave Capitol Hill briefings in which they said the evidence supported an Al Qaeda or Al Qaeda-affiliated attack, Fox News has learned.
The description of the attack by those in the Sept. 13 briefings stands in stark contrast to the now controversial briefing on Capitol Hill by CIA Director David Petraeus the following day -- and raises even more questions about why Petraeus described the attack as tied to a demonstration.
The Sept. 13 assessment was based on intercepts that included individuals, believed to have participated in the attack, who were celebratory -- as well as a claim of responsibility.
FBI and NCTC also briefed that there were a series of Al Qaeda training camps just outside of Benghazi, where the attack occurred and resulted in the deaths of four Americans. The area was described as a hotbed for the militant Ansar al-Sharia as well as Al Qaeda in North Africa.
Fox News is told there was no mention of a demonstration or any significant emphasis on the anti-Islam video that for days was cited by administration officials as a motivating factor.
The FBI and NCTC did not immediately respond to a request from Fox News for comment.

Perhaps he really is General Betrayus? Why would he allow himself be used to front a deliberate lie to the American people about this video? Petreus must know the truth about what happened. it was his people in the Benghazi Annex who were asking for permission to rescue the Ambassador at the consulate and who were later asking for assistance to repel the attack on the Annex. What did Petreus know, when did he know, what orders did he give or refuse to give, what orders of his were countermanded by either Panetta or Obama? What specific intel did he use to back his comments about the attacks being connected in any way to the video? Why hasn’t he corrected the record now that the truth has come out? He would be my chief witness in any future Congressional hearing.

When I was in the military, Officers were expected to be honorable and their word was their bond. I saw Petreus say on television that the attack was due to the video. I think he greatly dishonored himsef and should a man about it and resign.
Little off topic but is there anyone better than Catherine Herridge when comes to investigative reporting? She is a real pro.
I pray Obama will be voted out sparing the the country impeachment proceedings. We can just go straight to arrest warrants.

I must also note, that the issued statement published by the Weekly Standard, was “presumably” from him.
It still sits in the back of my mind that Obama/Soros may well have coordinated the 2008 run on the bank, together with world Islamists, and may have been threatening all the major US players with the threat of another run on the bank to collapse the entire world’s economy.
We know the Soros people had something powerful enough to silence Roger Ailes, and if Ailes had reported the threat of post-election FCC/FTC annihilation the threat would have been neutralized, since Soros/Obama would not have been in charge of the FCC/FTC if McCain had won.
Way too many otherwise honorable people have fallen on their swords for Soros/Obama. There is more to this story.

Two questions come to mind as follows:
1.) Did the US Congress choose to not declare War on al-Qaeda in Libya?
2.) Or did the US Congress wait, as usual, for the “Follow from Behind Kid” Obama to take the coward’s way out and do nothing?
When gas prices started going up for no good reason on January 1, 2008, I thought Soros was behind it, manipulating behind the scenes. He’s screwed up several other countries and he has said himself that he wants the U.S. to be neutralized.

I’m glad to see that the Freepers are finally figuring out that we have been betrayed by Petreaus. I’ve caught a lot of flak over the last month for pointing this out but the truth tuttle truth - he did betray his country by going along with the Obama/Jarrett/Axelrod YouTube made up story.
Thank God for Fox News' reporting--without it, this whole thing would be still laying flat under the rug the whole 0 admin has swept it.
May this whole thing, which Obama had the gall to call a "bump in the road", widen into a giant sink-hole that swallows up 0 and all those who still are on his vaunted "bus"--including his sychophants in the LSM!
