I have asked several times what was the name of the company. “Rachel at Credit Services” hangs up each time.
I always ask if they have a lawyer, and that they please connect me to them ASAP.

I have no interest in this company, I have owned one for more than ten years.
I am also a Latrine psychiatrist the P-to-P will keep you SANE
Many thanks!!!
Not if you don’t stop calling me you won’t!
Scratch that! Call me, I “sue” you. We split the money.
Call me again, and I “sue” you again, and we split the money again.
We’ll both be rich!
When I was a younger man with little kids, I would just hand the phone over to my 3 year old son....
He was excited to get to talk on the phone, and the telemarketer rarely if ever called back..

In North Carolina a small claims (magistrate’s court) action has to be filed where the Defendant resides. Not sure it would work here. You could file in District Court, but that is a little more involved...
I have a friend who has his phone listed as his cat.
When they called and asked for the cat, he would pick it up and it would meow loudly and they would get the message.
After the cat died, he had a whole new story.
“I’m sorry, she’s dead. She was sitting on the counter and fell off dead.”
He had a lot of fun with that one.
My favorite is the guy who makes recordings after stringing them along.
When a carpet cleaning company called he would say:
“Can you get blood of of carpet? It’s all over the place” in a really paranoid voice and after the initial sales person referred him to his manager, he would deny he said anything.
After the police were called on him he would yuck it up because they were in on it after a few calls.

Look for Revenge on the Telemarketers by Tom Mabe. I think that's who you're talking about.
Yes you can sue bill collectors but under a different set of laws the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
