Upon returning to the safe house, they again requested military back-up and were again denied. They were soon under fire. The fighting there went on for four more hours.

And still the MSM ignores this story...

Oh, so it's just the three of you and the President?

Gen. Dempsey is Chairman of the JCS -- which means he's not in the chain of command, he's the President's staff man, serving at the pleasure of the president just like you, Leon. Major General Carter Ham is an area commander who gets his troops (if any) from other regional commanders -- and as a major-general, he's about five layers down in the chain of command.

So we had you, Panetta (the President's SecDef and a career henchman), Gen. Dempsey (the President's general), and a junior general officer who "owns" Libya but no troops -- and you fired him on the spot for trying to help those people in Benghazi.

Where's the Army Chief of Staff? Where's the Secretary of the Army? All hell's breaking loose late in the evening in Libya (it's lunchtime in America), and you can't find people to get a second opinion? How cozy. Just like that Sunday in December, 1941, when George Marshall was out riding his horse.

Yeah, you and Barky had it down to a small group, didn't you? -- the way crap always happens.
