This is the first time in the kenyan's life that he has had to actually WORK AT SOMETHING FOR HIMSELF and it shows that he is a below average, affirmative action poster child.

A failure.

Clinton was partially correct: if it wasn't for "white guilt" and AA, the kenyan would be working the lobby of the Ritz for tips or shining shoes in Grand Central station, which is all he is qualified to do.

...like sitting in the stands on the first base side. You hear the bat connect and suddenly everything is slow mo. All things, technical, quality, scientific, experience, passionate, and skilled have connected with the swing of that bat. The ball sails effortlessly over the centerfield fence. And we cheer.

We’re gonna win.

Terrific prose, FP. Bravo!!!

People talk like it was a fait accompli that government is a nanny, and are sweating the tiny things that this nanny does or does not do. Good grief people, get a grip on yourselves.

We have a lot of those in Corporate America as well. They don’t get fired because you have to meet a certain “Diversity” level to get gubmint contracts. It just goes to show that you don’t have to be smart or hard working in Amerika anymore to get a great job (including POTUS), you just have to be the right color/political affiliation/gender etc.

Exactly. I want to see Hussein out of the White House by hook or by crook, and Romney is what there is to do it with. But it's a little disingenuous (though expected, as it always happens) to present this as if it's been some unprecedented brilliant campaign. It's been solid and steady, and it's getting solid and steady results-but brilliant, especially after what Obama has done to this economy (to say nothing of foreign policy) would be more than 2-5 percentage points ahead in the polls.

And we will still have the task of keeping him on the "straight and narrow", with a Congress wth the likes of Boehnor and Graham in it.

I understand the need to be enthusiastic for the sake of momentum, but just between us conservatives, we can't forget that Romney hasn't governed as a conservative or as someone partial to smaller government. And we surely don't want to be the flip side of the Obamanites who acted as if he was the Second Coming. No man is that, and Romney isn't for conservatives.

But for now, for the sake of getting Hussein out, I'll rah-rah with the rest, publicly. I want to "keep it real" to myself.

MSM push polls (either during the poll or its use after its completed) meeting reality as the real poll approaches.

Exactly. The Obinga Junta was mediadeluded into a turnout exceeding 2008. Sorry. It will be 2010-ish. R+2 to R+4. The lies come back to haunt.

I think it’s simple. Obuma showed himself as a sneering, 50 IQ Marxist with dead, black eyes and no soul or heart.

That he is, but many people couldn't plainly see it, until they had someone else to compare him to, side by side. That finally happened in the first debate, and Romney took the lead from that point, forward.

That's an emotional statement that a lot of people will agree with -- even insist on -- for emotional reasons. Realistically, though, there are plenty of jobs between shining shoes and running the government, some of which even Obama will be qualified for.

The real unfortunate surprise is Obama should be losing by more.

He very well could be and we just don’t know it yet

Money quote:

“He has not forgotten what others have not yet learned.”

Pretty important observation.

As J.D. Dunn pointed out in the article, Romney honed his gamesmanship in the arena of the free market, where one slip could mean real disaster.

Not only that, he took on an executive level of responsibility, which means that, not only was he responsible for the potential missteps of others, he took responsibility for the direction and fundamental decision making of the entire enterprise.

Where in Obama's history has he ever done any such thing? The man can't even take responsibility for himself, much less, the entire organization which he (ostensibly) runs.

Our real problem is the people that vote for Obama, or people like Obama, RATS, and that problem won’t go away with the election.

1. Socialist; 2. People not paying attention; 3 Stupid people.

You can’t fix stupid; those not paying attention will when they get hungary, but socialist are a special problem that requires a lot more work to fix. When we go broke they’ll get hungry also and that may be the only answer.

Upon further review, I sense Mitt knew he would succeed. His plan was thorough and most importantly he knew he could muster the cash to take down Obie, unlike any of the others. I think that's why he got a bit nasty in the primary, as he was in danger of losing it.

He was committed to replacing this fraud in the WH. He'll turn out to be much, much more conservative than anyone can imagine, now freed from BlueMass. Control of the house and senate would work nicely.
