New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who has blasted President Obama’s leadership, heaped praise on Obama on Tuesday for his handling of Hurricane Sandy.

“The president has been outstanding in this and so have the folks at FEMA,” Christie said on NBC’s “Today” show.

Christie, whose state is among the hardest hit by the storm, made appearances on several morning talk shows on Tuesday and applauded Obama at each stop.

Stop stressing. This is not going to change the trajectory of the race.

The corpulent self-promoting climate change pushing rino doesn’t need to make O look good days before the election to get a check cleared. Stop and desist with that. Immediately.

I watched Christie on Fox&Friends this morning. As he lambasted the F&F guys because they asked a question about the presidential election, I got the impression that Christie is a tad miffed at Mitt for not offering him the VP slot

I think he's just under a lot of pressure (duh)... and sincerely doesn't want to play politics right now. I don't read anything other than that into it.

Don’t trust Christie at all but WTH has obozo done? What leadership? He sure as hell voted present during the Nashville floods, the Midwest floods, the TX wildfires and he sure as hell didn’t give me his number 2 years ago when a snowstorm in Feb knocked out power for 2 weeks in sub freezing temps.

Being nice to your enemy when your country’s future is at stake is moronic.

Only if it will help save your state. All he is interested in is the welfare of NJ.

Our church took a group of people including contractors to Alabama right after the tornadoes struck. We weren’t allowed anywhere near the area to help because we didn’t have prior clearance from Red Cross. The electricians and plumbers that went with us weren’t allowed to do any repairs because they weren’t on FEMA’s approved contractor list. Our guys didn’t expect to get paid anything, it was all on a volunteer basis. We finally got a copy of one of the approved lists. All of the contractors were from Illinois, New York or Michigan. Went back to Joplin and found the same thing there so came back to Texas. So very sad. I hope Christie realizes the proof is in the pudding and doesn’t rely on empty promises made by Obama and FEMA.

I’m watching him on CNN now, certainly he looks devastated himself and knows he needs to get federal aid for his state. However it’s also true he is kissing tookis because how could Obama have done anything “outstanding” thus far? There is nothing I’m aware of.

They just asked him about Romney and he had nothing to say of praise about Romney.

The whole show is about Christie praising Obama. Maybe Christie’s motive is sincere but this is being used against Romney.

Yeah. The more he says, the angrier I get.

He and Romney must have had a falling out. No other way to explain why he is going out of his way to praise Bambi and say nothing good whatsoever about Romney.

I am half-expecting an endorsement of the Kenyan from him tomorrow.

I saw him on Fox and he truly looked like someone in shock!
WTH is Romney going to do for him? R/R are Candidates for goodness sake!

They don’t have control over anything he needs!

Not the first time this PhonyCon has praised Muslims...he supported the building of the Islamic Terrorist Shrine Mosque at the 9/11 site in NYC

A fiscal conservative is neither.....

looking up on the internet, which is likely to be trafficked to death for storm updates, much less watch it on TV when it is likely that the power could go out, a smart idea? Frankly not, but that’s what Obama was suggesting
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
Well that will give ‘them’ the opportunity to give ‘the chosen ones’ a FREE laptop + a lifetime of FREE batteries.

can anyone shut this bloated ego up..has he never seen rain or does Obama have his FBI file? Christie is making politics of the storm himself. He did simular damage at the Republican convention.

If you are a seminole you must understand something about the devastation of hurricanes.

I am not a fan of Christie, but I know how Government operates.
He has to kiss ass for now...just the way it is.

Not to mention the BP oil spill when it took two weeks before 0bumble was "looking for some asses to kick." That led to the moratorium on offshore drilling that has helped drive up gas prices.

Seemed awfully early. And more than a bit... overboard. If the media decides to go all-out turning Obama into a majestic hurricane hero (regardless of any concrete actions or facts) in these next few pre-election days, Christie handing them this wildly “over-the-top” praise to springboard their pro-Obama propaganda isn’t going to wear too well. If the election is close, this kind of unwarranted lifeline can tilt things Obama’s way.

And you are all safe and warm in your homes, pontificating while we have a disaster of enormous magnitude here.

Hope you don’t get smacked by the remanants and lose your power for a week or two..just to begin with.
