Our touch screens have a print out on a paper roll to the left of the screen so you can see your vote actually printed. I checked mine to see if the person I voted for was the person printed on the roll. It was.
That means nothing. If the person who wrote the software was devious, the vote counted could easily be different from the vote printed on the paper tab.
Heck, it could easily be programmed to show a vote for Romney on the display and yet sum the vote in the Obama column. Electronic voting can easily be corrupted.
