Petraeus and Panetta Speak—But Not the President
the Weekly Standard ^ | 10/31/12 | WILLIAM KRISTOL

Posted on 10/31/2012 10:42:43 AM PDT by Nachum

Seven weeks later, the White House still hasn't explained what President Obama did and didn't do during the seven hours of the attack on Benghazi on September 11. And there's been no response from the White House to questions asked by senators or THE WEEKLY STANDARD or David Ignatius in the Washington Post.

We have, to be sure, heard from some government officials. But the information they've provided raises still more questions.

CIA director David Petraeus authorized a statement pointedly saying that "No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate"—which strongly suggests that Petraeus believes or knows that officials in other parts of the government may have told subordinates "not to help those in need."

It was also a coinky dink that in the first part of the admin, a handful of other’s here had sites hacked or their computers going wonky ONLY on eligibility threads.

We’ve heard denials from the military and the WH. There’s no one else who could issue orders. Someone, and I think we know who, is lying. The only other answer is that our enemies have hacked into or been given access to the system and if that’s the case, we’re in seriously deep doo-doo.

>"because of the lack of real-time information."

That we had at the time because we launched a drone BEFORE the attack!

Why would we have a drone hanging around watching?

How did we know we would need a drone hanging around watching?

Who ordered the drone to hang around and watch?

Has anybody's peripherals (mouse, keyboard) not been working correctly for a few weeks? For some reason, the night of the last election, my mouse and keyboard started to lock up. It got progressively worse the next few days.
