Iowa has joined Texas in warning international election observers of possible criminal prosecution if they violate state laws and get near polling places on Election Day.

Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz — like Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott last week — on Tuesday threatened Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe election observers with arrest if they came within 300 feet of a polling place’s entrance, in violation of state law. (In Texas, it’s 100 feet.)

Can you elaborate? If I remember correctly, it was the gay marriage amendment that the Ca Supreme Court shot down; which I think is still winding its way to the US Supreme Court.

Look why have a proposition system and then throw out any vote that doesn't go the way the liberals want. I am not a big fan of the proposition system, but if we have it, don't you think that our votes should be honored? You really don't understand what constitutional amendment are if you think they can be unconstitutional on a whim. The only real way they could be unconstitutional is if they are contrary to the federal law. Medical Marijuana is illegal at the federal level but is overlooked in California. But that law is perfectly legal.

MY VOTE AND THE VOTES OF A MAJORITY OF CALIFORNIANS CONSISTENTLY GETS STOLEN BY THE COURTS.

From the article:

“That said, Alabama House Speaker Mike Hubbard, R-Auburn, announced Tuesday that he will support future legislation that would require all poll watchers in Alabama to be U.S. citizens.”

Future legislation...... wish it were present action as in Texas

Your vote still matters. Voters have been know to pass these kinds of things are in direct conflict with their constitutions and are struck down all the time.

A constitutional amendment, no matter how popular, cannot violate the law.

The Kenyan must go.

This Kenyan has made us look like a third world country with his UN election observers, his UN gun control plans, cap and trade, and; you can bet he is looking at making the USA just like EUROPE.

Obama makes every drunked sailor joke sound so mild with his spending, that every sailor who has ever been on shore could blow 50K and;it would be a joke next to what Obama and his wife blow. This clown has spent more money then every President since day one. He has no idea what economics is,has no idea what money and banking is about, so; he hires Keynesian ECON types.

These clowns have no use for traditional Macro Econ AKA National Income Accounting! They have had their quantitative easing 1,2 and then they buy up 40 billion worth of mortgage debt a month. I am sorry, but; I never took Keynesian Econ.I merely took 30 semester hours of classical econ, plus 30 more of Business.I have no idea what money and banking class these folks teach/practice, but; Dave Ramsey might be a lot better then Geigner.

Excellent news! Thank you SOS Shultz.

He is a good man fighting the fight and getting sued for it here in Iowa. Doesn't seem to have a give up bone in his body so far, and a tenacity to keep doing his job the right way.

For comparison, me as a US and Iowa citizen, I am subject to the exact same laws these nitwits want waived. I don't get special rights - niether should they. THe law is the law and it says keep your sorry ass a football field away from our polling places unless you are approved to be there by state law...
