The Obama team should have been suspicious when Christie rolled out the red carpet.
He was playing chess while they were playing checkers.
That may be the price of thinking you can play president for a couple of days and then get back to campaigning.
Being president is hard and doesn’t always work the way greek columns do.
I guess those EBT’s, Debit Cards, and cash aren’t being handed out fast enough (or, more likely, they only are handing them out in Da ‘Hood).

geez i am losing sympathy day by day for many of these people. i’m in colorado in a house so yes i have more space to store stuff and i have stores within walking distance and cash on hand (and the means to protect it). it’s been 5 days and they are running out of food? they are cold? don’t they have blankets? with very little perperation a week in late october without electricity and heat and gas would be merely an annoyance. hell i would use my cars more to keep cell phones charged.

Notice that we are having a parallel experience collapsed into a small time frame? On Sept. 11 there was Benghazi, a terrorist attack, and now this “version” of Katrina. It is like a gigantic cosmic theatre is showing us a comparison. The warm up was when BOTH political conventions had to work around bizarre weather.
