It was the second costliest in US history. If Nanny Bloomberg was alive at that time, he would have banned all wood stoves, coal fired industrial plants, and of course, all horses. Horse manure does cause green house gasses. But, the sensible Americans in that time would have rode Nanny Bloomberg out of town and called his talk so much horse manure.
He’s not a Republican anymore. He left the party a few years back.

Obambi’s way to cut the deficit is to have the US Treasurey do a study that would tie the US tax code for every business and US citizen to their carbon emissions use.

And he wasn't a Republican for very long. Bloomberg was a registered Democrat who switched his registration to Republican so that he could run in the GOP primary for mayor. He figured he couldn't win a Democrat primary.
Then, after completing his first term as Mayor, he ran for his second term as an Independent.
Fact is, Nanny Bloomberg was never really a Republican and shouldn't be viewed as one.
