This is the state of this country now, election by soundbite. They lay in wait for some soundbite that can be echoed 1,000 times a day then they run with it.

And America pays the price.

Mourdock and Akin, two dumb sh!ts who don’t know what not to say. I hope they both win, because we dearly need those seats. But if they loose, it’s on them for stupid statements that I am at a loss as to know why they were spoken in the first place. Are these two religious nuts?

I’m very dubious on this poll. Indiana is going R bigtime this election. The energy here is excellent. Not pro-Romney energy but anti-Democrat energy.

Anyone else notice how Yahoo will almost always have at least 2-3 pro 0bama stories and 1-2 anti Romney stories on its front page? When you click the stories to read the comments, the comments are usually anti 0bama and pro Romney.

He brought it on himself. It’s a shame the GOP will lose a seat they could have easily won, but no sympathy for him.

Rasmussen has Mourdock down by only 3 to Donnelly.
45%/42%

There’s still time to help Mourdock!

Get Out The Vote!!!

Well, even if Mourdock loses, I think it was a good gamble for conservatives in Indiana to take. Richard Lugar had been in since 1976, and even though he would probably have cruised to re-election, it was time for a change. Indiana is not Maine or Oregon; conservatives can and do win there regularly. That’s why Donnelly has been touting himself as pro-life and conservative (by Democratic standards) in his campaign ads (note I said touting, and not that he was conservative or pro-life - we’ve all seen how that plays out in DC). It’s unfortunate that Mourdock made the comments he did, but he may yet win if some of the closer polls out there are accurate.

They’re lying about what Mourdock said.

The way they write the headlines and speak about it, it sounds as if Mourdock said that God intended the rape to happen.

That is a flat out lie.

He said that if a woman is raped, and then has a baby, then God intended her to have the baby. Killing an innocent baby is just plain wrong. On that point, Mourdock is a hell of a lot better than Romney, who recently said that it’s OK to kill the baby.

And Mourdock is a HELL of a lot better than any Democrat politician, who think it’s OK to kill every baby in sight.

The Christian position is that a baby is a gift of God as well as a physical product of the mother and father. And, incidentally, that is also the position of the Declaration of Independence. The right to life is an inalienable right. The government cannot take it away. Because it is a gift of God.

Which, of course, Obama and any Democrat flatly deny.

Mourdock was right! And if he gave the Democrats an opportunity to twist his words and lie, then we ought to fight back with the truth, not just lie down and take it. The same with Todd Akin. Anything else is letting the Lying Communist Libtards set the rules and define the language.

I can’t believe that people here are stupid enough to buy that “poll”. Seriously? Are you all THAT easy?
