Heard Rush Limbaugh talk about this "Redskins Rule" on his show today. It's actually a very strange occurrence, occurring with about the same probability as flipping a coin 18 times and getting 17 heads or 17 tails.

Wonder why Redskins' road games aren't included in this when they played on the road the Sunday before the election. Probably because there is nowhere near the same unlikely correlation.

BTW, I think there was once a correlation between the outcome of the Super Bowl (according to whether the AFC or NFC team wins) and the presidential election, and also one between the outcome of the World Series (according to which league won) and the presidential election. Don't recall the details, though.

Thanks justiceseeker93. These “indicators” are bogus of course, but amusing. Since there’s no conceivable credible connection between the outcome of a football game and election turnout and results, it’s fourth and long for Zero and his cadre.

After we’ve retaken our country, we won’t have a prop POTUS who gets all his plays called in from the sidelines.
