Palin Endorses Romney... Sort Of..
ABC News ^ | 11/5/12

With less than 24 hours to go until Election Day, former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin endorsed Mitt Romney.

After remaining silent for months, Palin made her case for the GOP ticket in a Facebook posting, arguing that Romney "deserves a chance to lead."

......

In contrast, her former running mate, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., has been a tireless advocate for Romney.

Palin's support has been more tepid. While shying away from officially using the word "endorse," Palin has made it known that she stands with her party. According to recent filings with the Federal Election Commission, Palin's political action committee donated $5,000 to the Romney campaign on Oct. 31.

She has done much in the past four years getting the more conservative candidate to win the primary. But that’s where it ends. Her name was prevalent in many contexts a year ago here. Now she’s seldom mentioned.

Any news about Sarah “filtered” through ABC News should be taken with some skepticism.

Actually, I still like her, but in no way do I see her as a driving political force in real-conservative politics anymore.....more like a cheerleader, now. She had a chance and demurred....

Palin endorsed a candidate in the primary for US Senator here in Missouri.

Of the three main contenders that person came in third.

You fell right into ABS’s liberal bias trap. Sarah has been supporting Romney for quite a while now. If only lukewarm. So am I lukewarm. But I already voted for Romney/Ryan.

She’s never been keen on Romney — and why should she, with Romney operatives sabotaging her even before the end of the 2008 elections? — but she likewise has always been up-front about being “ABO”. Her statements of support have been vague, accordingly, and more focused on voting out Obama, so any kind of actual Romney endorsement is indeed an actual shift.

To be fair, she hasn’t sabotaged Romney as Christie did.

Looks like ABC up to no goodniks. LOL

And other candidates she endorsed/supported won their primaries (e.g., Ted Cruz in TX). You win some, you lose some; but on the whole, her track record is pretty good.

At this time, before Romney has a chance to perform as president, Sarah will not support him beyond expressing her preference for him over Obama.

She has always been skeptical that he’s conservative enough. She can’t say words now that she might have to eat later.

Sarah knows what she is doing.

While she has said "Go Vote against Ubama" and has made it very clear that Romney should be your choice.

She knows Moderate Mitt will end up betraying Conservatives if he gets in and if she goes around yelling "VOTE 4 ROMNEY" for 7 months than her credibly when she/we need to stand up to him will be shot.

She also knows that if Willard looses they will throw Paul Ryan overboard like the GOP-E did her and say "Conservatives are a drain on the ticket" and again she/we would all look like fools if we had been unquestionably supporting Romney.

Sarah's good American instincts serve her well and she knows the Party Machine when she sees it.

Go Sarah!

her track record is pretty good.

Her nich seems to be giving last minute endorsements to conservatives in Republican primaries.

I don't know of anybody who, as of last night, was still waiting for her direction in the presidential race.

Agree. Her way of sorta kinda saying he deserves a chance is reserved. Why not just say yea, I all for Mitt because his win saves the country?

I think Sarah’s turn in the limelight has past.

She has become irrelevant - particularly in her lack of leadership, influence and work.

She made her millions, bought a big house in Az.

Your welcome Sarah, and thank you for your service, sincerely.
