This is what the ACLU really wants:

FTA:

“Yet the new directive hasn’t satisfied the ACLU, which is waiting to go before an Essex County superior Court judge to force the state to allow voters who haven’t received their email or fax ballots to cast their votes using the federal Voting Assistance Program. Normally used by overseas and military voters, it allows residents to download absentee ballots that can be mailed in.”

Superfluous—Mitt will have his 270 by 11 tonight.

The Sandy victims won't matter.

Yes, and maybe on that day president-elect Romney will be interviewing potential cabinet members.

So many folks in NJ are busy keeping warm and scrounging for food, I suspect vote totals to be down significantly. Even those who merely lost power are busy cleaning out their freezers/refrigerators.

And the winds from the Nor' easter inbound tomorrow could be 50-60MPH which could hamper further repair of the power grid and destroy some of what has already been repaired.

As long as Romney hits 270 without NJ, we’re good!
Doesn’t need to wait for NY either!

Fine. So long as they extend the same consideration to military voters.

Why? Is something going on in NJ? From the MSM reporting of it things are running just fine there.

So - what? No election results from NJ until Saturday? Are you kidding me?

Email and Fax machines require electricity - they should start there.

I believe that’s illegal. All voting for president must be by the end of Election Day. Voting for other stuff can be done later, but not president. At least, that’s what I heard today — either on Fox or Rush.

The ACLU has never ever once requested extension because military ballots couldn’t be counted in time.

Christie teared up when he hugged Springsteen. Fat Boy is a whimp. He talks big then folded like a cheap empty suit at the first crisis. He panicked. He’s probably been holding those tears since Sandy hit and when he was touched by Springsteen he just couldn’t hold them in. I bet he wears pink panties.

So, Coulter, what do you think of your boy now? Why don’t you introduce him to your friend Bill Mahr. But bring some tissues ‘cause Christie will really lose it if Bill hugs him.

Article II Section 1:
The Congress may determine the time of choosing the electors, and the day on which they shall give their votes; which day shall be the same throughout the United States.

3 USC §1:

The electors of President and Vice President shall be appointed, in each State, on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November, in every fourth year succeeding every election of a President and Vice President.

Extending the election? Sorry. That is utter bull$h!t!!!
