The candidate that God had already chosen to win this election and restore this nation to righteousness happened to be one of those 50 million.

It’s friggin’ hard to beat an incumbent. When you are portrayed as a heartless 1%er (in the wake of the Occupy movement) and anti-woman and racist...Well you just ain’t gonna win.

1972 - 2012 = 40.

Yeah. That’s old enough now. Would have been one of the youngest presidents ever and one of the first aborted. Wow. Really drives it home doesn’t it. :(

No..it is not what I said.

If you have been lucky to have never questioned God about something that has happened in your life then I am truly happy for you.

I had an abusive evil mother who to be honest I was happy when told she was dead. I question God and have since I can remember about the horrific abuse I received.

I question what is happening now.

I love God and have read and studied the Bible. I have prayed that I work towards and that he gives me a more loving heart. Sometimes I am at peace, but other times like now, I am not.

I wish my head could be in the clouds and I could be that person who speaks as if they are better and holier than others. I am just a sinning Believer who prays.

I’m sorry if my not having the luxury of feeling full of goodwill right now bothers you.

I am speaking from the heart of someone who is hurt.

and you sure as hell ain’t gonna win if you don’t fight back.

Jim Robinson was right, we had a wimp for a candidate.

I doubt there will be a 2016 election.

you will realize it’s only shallow scape goating

Nope, it's the reality we find ourselves in tonight.
The stupid, the lazy, the slackers and the uninformed have won, we have loss.
You can hold out a hand to them if you want, I will not.
If you're thinking the fraud in this election will be exposed, you're whizzing into a strong north wind.
Ain't going to happen with our trash run government.

Last thought of the night.
If things are as bad as they are and Obama still won, we’re screwed in 2016 no matter who the Republican candidate is. Obama is clearly the most failed President in the history of the US and he still won. Jimmy Carter on steroids won. Romney should have had a win similar to what Reagan had against Carter but he didn’t. Romney, about the most capable candidate for president there has been in many years, lost to what is beyond a doubt, the worst, most divisive President in years. Next election is a fresh slate. My feeling is next election cycle will be a heavy democrat win. The house will be the last bastion of Republicans only because many house elections are in rural areas but any elections happening with major cities producing the majority vote will forever more be democrat/liberal and increasingly so. Next election, the senate will continue to go further democrat/liberal. Society has reached the tipping point.
Tell me I’m wrong.

You’re not wrong. This was our last best chance. Turned out to be futile.

Latinos and blacks will keep producing in infinite numbers and they almost all turn out to vote Democrat. Enough whites among the women, gays, union thugs and metrosexual men to add to that and be an unbeatable force.

Those weren’t conservatives, sir.

The conservatives were the ones sitting back, and watching with horror as they realized how exactly this would unfold.

Solidarity starts with not asking for Akins head in the first place and STANDING WITH CONSERVATIVES.

Do you think Democrats apologise for being too communist? Hell no. They put their strongest members in positions of authority.

And the “conservatives” should try to think before speaking.

I consider myself as a conservative but conservative doesn’t forbid to be clever and smart

“we’re screwed in 2016 no matter who the Republican candidate is”

Bullshit. We ran a candidate who was the architect of Obamacare, who pushed gay marriage in his state, and we honestly expected to win?

If you really feel that there’s nothing to fight for for 2016 - then join the democrats. We don’t need you.

Democrats don’t define someone who espouses the values of the opposition as ‘smart’.

I was there.

All the proaborts here wanted Akin’s head. It wasn’t the conservatives.

A part of me is at peace. An “at least we know” kind of peace.

This is the country we have - it is no surprise really. Shifting demographics, popular culture, dependency, and poor education gives us this electorate.

So now we know for certain. Held out hope there was a “silent majority” ready to break out but there wasn’t.

Now we know.

No, everyone who cares about the country should be very properly preparing if they weren’t already prepared.

In 2009, I left a good paying job and made Aliya to Israel, where I live hand to mouth. I’m glad I did that. Just about every day, I get a little more happy about that decision. Today I am a lot more happy. But my heart goes out to you all.
Try Australia and/or New Zealand. They’re still free.

Fine. Do you think that Akin should have been treated that way?
