The problem is is that we didn’t kill Fabian Socialism in it’s infancy. Instead free people began to make comprises.... believing we can allow some government interventions and have a little welfare state, and then put the brakes on when it becomes too burdensome. Wrong. Once you entitle Paul to Peter’s money it’s over. Another problem is that people have fallen for the illusion of choice. There wasn’t much of a choice. Romney would have still expanded the government and only slowed socialism. The Republican Party is only exists to make freedom loving people think they still have a stake.
