“I wonder how Sarah Palin would have done against zero?”

Would probably have won!

Moderates will in most instances vote for the democrat if the Republican is a moderate.

Moderates are useless garbage!

Candy was far from helpful but considering that Mitt completely dropped the while subject after that and it was weeks ago plenty of time to take on the issue Romney gets that one himself.

Fat Boy Christie is another story. He was for lib Mitt in the R primary and then abandoned him a week before the election, for his new buddy O.
He earned my scorn.

In the exit polling Obama’s handling of Sandy had an effect on the voters, that’s what I heard BOR say

“You can see the real truth and are not in denial. The illegals and the 47
Percenters and growing and will grow above 50 percent in the next 4 years.
We have been over run by the takers. And it will get much worse.”

No it won’t. There is no money to pay for it. Everyone seems to forget this. We are to the tipping point. No money left it has to collapse The one bright spot is that the party that caused it will be in power when it collapses. No way to blame it on the right. They will own it

I have to go with Mitt. Obamacare was what got the masses fired up in 2010 and was off the table as soon as Mitt was the nominee.

Frankly, you’re right. Based on debate performances, Santorum and Gingrich wouldn’t have fared much better. The whole problem which we face is just the media as a religion now, and people making judgements on soundbites. Then there’s the guilt factor, yeah, scares like big bird, making the poor starve, and so on, all add up.

Mitt was the problem. He wasn’t “fiercely conservtive” until the GOP primary. Then he sat on the sidelines while 0bama savaged him over the summer. Finally he didn’t bring Benghazi down on 0bama’s head in the last debate.

“Oh BS. Romney won the popular vote. Romney himself lost this election. Didn’t go after Obama at all or not enough. Romney was WAY TOO arrogant the last weeks thinking he had this in the bag and didn’t have a good GOTV program.”

Anyone who thinks small time Santorum or Newt would do a better job at GOTV, raising $$$, etc is delusional. Romney had all the assets anyone could hope for, he didn’t make any stupid mistakes and he still lost. It will be hard to win even with a better candidate as long as the dems can just give $ to everyone.

The talking heads are saying the republican party is going to have to start running more moderate candidates to win. I kid you not.

Entire media.

I expected Romney to trounce Obama. I offer that as perspective for the following.

We don’t have TV and haven’t since 1997. So I decided to stream Fox tonight. From the moment they were on the air at 8:00, the literally sounded like they were trying to explain why Romney lost. I thought it was some kind of joke, but it was not.

And their joking and flirting with each other, as I saw the final stake to the heart of this nation just left me stupefied. They were treating it like a sporting event. Only one of the people, a woman named Liz, seemed to grasp the gravity of the situation.

And then all the liberal commentators spouting stuff that sounded almost like the old Air America days? What the he**?

And people say Fox is conservative. Sheesh.

Well, there’s some optimistic thinking. Do you think the left will really, and I mean really, start hitting any limits though? And still, wouldn’t they take credit, even though forced to, to simply argue that they ended the deficit. Either way, I can see what you’re saying. We simply wouldn’t go anywhere having some power while one group runs a bankruptcy scheme.

We’re already borrowing 40 percent of every dollar we spend.
And you think Bonehead and Cantor are going to cut spending?
Or threaten to shut down congress.
They will do what they did in the last lame duck congress.
Increase the debt ceiling.

He also botched it during the 2nd debate.

Really?

We’ll I’ll see your disagree with an agree.

It is the nation of takers vs makers and I can’t get anyone to understand that.

Frankly, I’m tired of trying to make the case.

My friends are cultists and love to blow $38,500 on anyone who tends to their “feeeeeelings”.

Seriously, one even had Pretty Boy John in her house a couple of times for campaign fund raising.

Bottom line is unemployment could have been at 10%, 12% or whatever.

Takers and Feelers want to be assuaged.

Interesting that Arlen Spector just died and Christie has gained weight, which gives a whole new meaning to get in my belly. Christie was paving the way for a 2016 run, best way to do that is to assist in Obamas reelection, and not run against a republican incumbent. Plus, look at the goodwill he created with the praise to Obama, the zombies ate it up........Christie is a morbidly obese miserable human being who has numerous emotional issues or he wouldn’t be 300 pounds overweight. His only allegiance is to his political agreed........and cupcakes.
