We need to espouse total freedom of lifestyle. Religious, atheist, whatever people want. Let them marry goats. Focus on the economy and constitutional govt and freedom for all. For all, not just libs. The only exception should be that our platform should never approve of the murder of the unborn. If transgenders can’t help being transgender, then how can the unborn help being unborn? We shouldn’t murder either of them. Duh.

That falls into repubs/cons need to grow a spine and stop reaching across the aisle. Speak up about the unfairness of liberal debate moderators and all the one-sided liberal media reporting. Instead of focusing on the enemy, we’ll be hashing it out how bad Romney was.
That could be part of it, but I think a lot of Dems just marched in and voted straight ticket, as they were instructed.
Here in PA, our state-wide GOP ticket was virtually wiped out in the wake of Obama. We had one takeaway in the 12th district (Murtha’s old seat), but that was the ONLY good news of the night.
Our new party needs to be an educating party. It needs to be focused on telling the truth, and teaching about the constitution. We need to tell all these people how to tease out lies and Alinsky- mocking from real truth about economy and policy. There is no other way. Americans are ignorant and get their info from comedy channel and Leno one liners.
