The late Spiro Agnew left liberal MD for CA, before it was so liberal, years ago. Maybe MD and CA can have intramural competition on who is the most liberal. But Agnew is not around to break the deadlock. MD people as a whole always disappoint, but I assume there are individual exceptions.
You do realize that Agnew was convicted of felonies, yes? Quoting the example of a convict is not the way to convince others of your views.
