It's a start, I admit. But this should be part of a full on assault. Like if everyone decides to take all their money out of the banks at once, not spend a single penny for a week, etc.

only one problem ... whether one calls it wimping out or not, the truth is the truth. They (the democrats) have 1 - 1/2 branches of government, and soon to have 2 - 1/2, if the 2 - 1/2 doesn't already exist. They have the Senate, the White House, and get ready ... for the Supreme Court. If one adds in the media, they have 2 - 1/2 and soon to have 3 - 1/2. The reason I vote for Santa Claus is because Santa Claus is a myth. I live in small town America. The liberals live at the North Pole. Soon to be a North Pole for Conservatives ... no matter what is done (imho), so bottom line, Conservatives will receive the blame no matter what, win or lose, it will be our fault. Look folks am not intelligent enough to figure all the ins and outs on a plan like this. Lazamataz said we could wind up with less freedom not more. I think Laz has a valid point. Would appreciate your input (from each of you, please). Each of you has been here longer than me. I request, if you can and will share, your knowledge. There is much I have no idea about. I’ve been reading a bunch of threads recommending something like you’re discussing. Basically, letting it go off the cliff, going Galt, shutting down, etc.

While I find the idea appealing in a certain way (darkest before the dawn and all that).

My only apprehension is what our foreign enemies might do. Would the Chinese or Russians see their opportunity to muscle in? Would sharia break out in certain areas? Would the drug cartels (who already have a great “ground game” in place) take over blocks and blocks of major cities?

Am wishing could be more encouraging and say in my opinion none of this is taking place, but Is not all of what you speak of (or typed) taking place? I could be all wet on this question. In fact, if was scared, would we-we all over me, I would. There are powerful people and powerful entities in play. Maybe I should be scared too.
