Curiouser and curiouser. The only thing I’m fairly certain of at this point is that this is all related to Benghazi and there’s much more here than meets the eye.

IMO, up to the time the hoe was implanted, Petraus was a republican hero. Seeing this, and his possible candidacy, I think it was a set-up from the beginning.
Once caught in the web, Petraus was promoted to CIA and used as a tool.

It appears that they knew about the affair for some time, and rather than confront him immediately about it, they were forcing him to take the heat for Benghazi.
