Petraeus to Try to ‘Put Life Back Together’ Before Any Benghazi Testimony

The ranking Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee said he’s spoken to former CIA Director David Petraeus about still testifying on the Benghazi attack — and the answer is not now.

Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) said on ABC’s This Week this morning that his committee wasn’t told about the Petraeus investigation — reportedly centering around his mistress and emails — until Friday, when the general’s resignation was announced.

“He and I have already had a conversation. You know, he’s trying to put his life back together right now and that’s what he needs to focus on,” Chambliss said in regard to Thursday’s closed-door Benghazi hearing, at which Petraeus was supposed to testify.

They need to issue a subpoena for Petraeus and he needs to wipe his eyes and get up there and testify. Then he can put his life back together.

Well, that Command would have to use some personnel who were fluent in Arabic, so that might account for her being in that position and the frequent interaction with Petraeus. Pretty soon, they cast him as having an affair with every woman he ever said hello to. I think (but what do I know) that this woman would not have tipped off the FBI if she, too, were having an affair with him.

I am beginning to think of the Broadwell woman along the lines of the woman astronaut who got involved in the ‘love triangle’ and drove from TX to FL, wearing a diaper, to dispense with her competition. Can’t think of her name.

Broadwell’s sending threatening emails to a perceived rival for the general’s affections seems like mighty unhinged behavior, especially since both she and the general were married.

Sad as it may ( that is ? if this is all real ) this does not over rule what happened in Benghazi Libya with 4 dead Americans.
Even if this is true that he cheated on his wife, this does not trump the fact that 4 Americans are dead and this regime lied to the American people.

Was talking about Syria. But yes, you have a point. Also fits Libya to a lesser extent. And Egypt also. They took this disastrous policy and applied it to at least three nations.

Libya then Egypt followed by Syria. And all three nations had Chemical WMD. In the Nations where Obama won with his Terrorist Insurgency, terrorist ended up controlling Chemical WMD. He was only stopped in Syria. My guess is when they went into Libya with NATO, they probably found out it was better to not have NATO on your side.
