It makes no sense. I would say that it’s way past time to go medieval against the scumzies.
Surely Israel has enough extra ordinance to level a few square miles of the launching zones.

This is why the field artillery invented counter battery fire. As soon as the enemy fires, an artillery round is on the way, with a heck of a lot more accuracy. If you have high altitude reconnaissance, which the Israelis do, you can even fire before they do, when they are setting up.
And you can also light up the guys that are sending the dummy out to launch the rocket, which takes all the fun out of it.
We have it hard--Think how much worse the Israelis have it.
