I cannot urge my fellow FReepers enough to not put much of their time, and attention into the crap that is selected for our reading interest by this Administration, and their “sycophant journalists” of the MSM.
IF it’s “News” blown out of proportion, then it’s more than likely a diversion, and we must pay even more attention to that which is going on around the topic of their choice, or seek to find what they are omitting from the news that we should know.

Now that Petraeus has jumped ship, I want to see him sing like a canary, on he record.
When did this broad go to Afghanistan? Who sent her? Who approved of her shacking up with the general? Who paid for her living arrangement? Who did she keep in contact with here in the US? Now Rush, this is a slut. A married woman with children chasing a general half way around this globe to write a tell tale book. And before all is said and done her general gets the job of CIA Director. Her presence by necessity would have required our military to have spent time protecting her.
Congress needs to hold a public hearing just for her and her alone. I think her book is not yet finished.
Temptation is serious by it's very meaning. But these were both West Point graduates who had its Honor Code driven into them during their respective four years there.

Then, if nothing else, there should have been her children to consider. That would have been enough to stop me cold. But not him. He effed them over just as he effed her.

Paula Broadwell, the biographer revealed as the woman having a secret affair with the now-former CIA director, gave a talk at the University of Denver on Oct. 26 in which she appeared to reveal sensitive, maybe even classified, information about the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
The most interesting revelation is her claim that the CIA was holding two Libyan militia members prisoner, which may have prompted the attack. (Though she also sought to explain the Obama administration’s initial view that the attack was linked to the YouTube video Innocence of Muslims, an anti-Islam polemic that sparked riots across the Muslim world.)
She also said flatly that forces at the CIA annex had requested backup from a special Delta Force group she called the CINC’s in extremis force. It was not clear whether she was basing her comments on an Oct. 26 Fox News report by Jennifer Griffin, or whether her information came from elsewhere. (Griffin refers to it as “Commanders [sic] in Extremis Force,” but does not mention Delta Force or any Libyan prisoners.)
A CIA spokeswoman disputed the Fox News account at the time, saying, “no one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate.”
In any case, Broadwell’s remarks, which were first reported by Arutz Sheva, are obviously very interesting in light of this week’s big news. Her comments came in response to a questioner who asked her to comment on Petraeus’s handling of the events in Libya. I’ve transcribed them in full here:

So how does this bimbo get full access to Petraeous for him to implant his seed for two years or so??? How many of his staff knew that he was getting a sidecar?? How come they all remained silent?? - even after he left Afghanistan in 2011?? Even after he moved back in with wife Holly in DC, and limousines took him everywhere.
This guy isn't some shmuck who tells his wife that he's got a dinner client meeting; every second of every day is recorded somewhere.
But then I'm naive, Bubba was getting head in our white house from Monica after presenting her credentials at the front door, and saying hi to his secretary as she unbuttoned her dress.
Its disgusting how this admin is using this tragedy to keep Patreus out of court. I shouldn’t be suprised though, in the words of Rahm Emmanuel.... well, ya’ll know.
“Paula Broadwell” sounds like name of a female character out of a James Bond movie like “Pussy Galore”.
Why can’t they just print the story honestly.
