Military expert Paula Broadwell, who was allegedly improperly involved with resigned CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus, confirmed in October that the CIA annex in Benghazi asked for reinforcements when the consulate came under attack on September 11....
Broadwell was speaking at her alma mater, the University of Denver, on October 26. Her lecture, which is on YouTube under the title "Alumni Symposium 2012 Paula Broadwell," now has added value, because based on the recent disclosures, it can now be assumed that she indeed knew exactly what it was that Petraeus knew about the attack.
Broadwell confirmed the reports on Fox News that the CIA annex asked for a special unit, the Commander in Chief's In Extremis Force, to come and assist it. She also said that the force could indeed have reinforced the consulate, and that Petraeus knew all of this, but was not allowed to talk to the press because of his position in the CIA.

"They were requesting the – it's called the C-in-C's In Extremis Force – a group of Delta Force operators, our very, most talented guys we have in the military. They could have come and reinforced the consulate and the CIA annex. Now, I don't know if a lot of you have heard this but the CIA annex had actually taken a couple of Libyan militia members prisoner, and they think that the attack on the consulate was an attempt to get these prisoners back. It's still being vetted.
"The challenging thing for Gen. Petraeus is that in his new position, he's not allowed to communicate with the press. So he's known all of this – they had correspondence with the CIA station chief in Libya, within 24 hours they kind of knew what was happening."

The Washington Post is set to publish a piece by editor Vernon Loeb about Paula Broadwell, his co-author on the Gen. David Petraeus biography and the woman at the center of the scandal surrounding Petraeus’s resignation from the CIA, Post sources tell POLITICO.

The Adultery is a Red Herring. It is a deflection from the cover up. The cover up of Benghazigate is the scandal. This confession and his resignation over charges of adultery is just designed to deflect the nation from the real issues, i.e, just what the hell was Stevens doing in Benghazi and why didn't the CIA, the Military or Obama do anything to rescue him?
Patraeus is hiding something underneath his adultery scandal. Something much more sinister than any sexual affair.
I’ve fairly well convinced myself that Turkey (NATO) was arming the “arab spring” with shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles (Manpads), that they lost control of them, that the Americans in Libya were attempting to get them cornered, and they had essentially failed. They knew enough to let everyone know who had put the world’s entire commercial air industry in jeopardy, and they were, therefore, expendable.
Just my personal operating theory.

Never underestimate how much money talks, it is far easier for them to be paid into silence......with no source, the story dies within a few weeks tops.

The simplest explanation is that the affair started without any outside interference, but was known to the Obama administration. With this information, Petraeus became a useful idiot for the Administration, which explains him (a) failing to protect his people when they were under attack in Benghazi and (b) spinning the Obama story about the video. I don’t think the Obama Administration leaked the story. They would have preferred to keep Petraeus right where he was, where they could manipulate him through blackmail. He chose to bailout when it was clear that the instability of his mistress was bringing heat down on him from the FBI and was about to break out into the open.
Are you suggesting Obamacide??? gasp! If she turns up with a Canary in her ear, we’ll know it’s them, they can’t get anything right.. LOL.. :)
I’m just not sure. If Petraeus wouldn’t testify the way they wanted and decided to get out in front of the story with his confession, I think they’d still want to humiliate him and make it look like they have control and made him resign....
..........hmm...........I could be out on a limb here but doesn’t it matter whether he is talking to a Senate Committee, a House Committee or a Joint Committe.
If he were talking to a House Committee, the Pubbies being in the majority, they could offer him immunity for his testimony. Then the marxists leverage over Petraeus goes bye bye.
If I am right, then the marxists will be looking to get him before a Senate Committee where Reid can rig the proceedings so as to hold UCMJ adulterous prosecution over his head, or worse.
0bama knows that if he avoids addressing the nation on major events such as Fast & Furious, Solyndra, Benghazi, etc., chaos ensues and distrust in government grows.. Plays right into 0bama's grand plan.

Do you or anyone else remember learning about an affair between a lady named Maria Reynolds and Alexander Hamilton? The affair almost ruined Hamilton! He broke it off and admitted it to his wife and colleagues at the time. The woman apparently was also still married, (like this Paula is) and she and her own husband were actually blackmailing him over it.
This modern-day affair between another high military officer/government official and his lover is a lot like the one of old times! Just like Gen. Patraeus, he was a retired military officer-turned gov. official. I don’t know if she’s trying to blackmail him like A. Hamilton’s girlfriend was, though. I guess it remains to be seen, though!

I would love to have this turn out with our side shining the light of truth on this President but I am not expecting that to happen. I am getting my house in order and making the arrangemnts to secure my family.
I am truly discussed with our side. They think this is a game like any other election. They will soon find out that this is real. I hope they have a plan.
