This is not unrelated to Benghazi, in my opinion. Obama had originally suggested that the GOP pick Petraeus as the VP nominee, and was clearly planning this as a steamy “October Surprise,” which is exactly what he did to win more than one election in Chicago in his past. Holder is said to have known about this very early on, and it’s not believable that he didn’t tell Obama, Jarrett and Axelrod.
Obama didn’t need to use this “surprise” because Petraeus was not the VP candidate, but when Benghazi came along, Obama knew that he’d been handed a golden opportunity. This discredits Petraeus in a big way, if not literally, at least in popular opinion, and diminishes the impact of any Benghazi testimony that might come out. And now of course Petraeus has postponed his testimony for an indefinite time while he “gets his life together”...give me a break.

My prediction at this time is that we will find out that all the War on Terror tactics denounced by Obama such as black sites and extreme interrogation techniques were still in place with the regimes approval, despite their so called executive orders. Benghazi has entered it’s third scenario. First it was an out of hand movie review. Second it was a terrorist attack against a consulate. Third, the truth, a jailbreak of a CIA black site. The regime will be caught lying big time to the American people, plus their hypocritical attacks on the Bush administration will be exposed big time.
