I looked into converting one in the early 1990s, but the whole 922(r) thing got into the way. I’ve seen some conversions that use the tabbed/duckbilled mags, but none ran nearly as well as the AK conversions.
Fair enough.
I had a Chinese SKS and let it go a while back.
A stupid move that I regret.
They should contact some manufacturers like Armalite, Rock River, Stag Arms, Springfield Armory, etc. to see if they can get some donated rifles. It would be good PR for them.
