For President Obama, a politician of famous good fortune, even scandals within his administration seem well-timed.
The president has been untouched by the unfolding investigation involving former CIA director David H. Petraeus and Marine Gen. John R. Allen, the U.S. commander in Afghanistan.
Obama just won a not-so-close reelection battle and will never face another, leaving him less encumbered by the politics of the moment. The scandal hinges on a personal relationship beyond the White House and has not implicated the president or his closest advisers. And the person at the center of it — Petraeus, one of the most accomplished military officers in recent U.S. history — has been beloved by Republicans for years.

A psychopath will probably feel untouched by scandal.
It is good to be king...
Unlike “Teflon” Presidents of the past, scandals do not just slide off Obama, they bounce off him and accelerate in the opposite direction. He answers to no one and that's how the Liberals want it to stay. He is Pharaoh after all.
For those here who think the Mainstream Media is losing its biased impact on the People, look no further than the recent Election Results.
Examples: Benhazi, who is Ben Ghazi? It's all Bush's fault! The Rich don't pay enough, in fact they steal from the people. Obama really is one of us. He cares more about the people than those evil Republicans. Republicans hate Black folk. Romney would take away my Social Security and let me starve to death. Blah, blah, blah, blah, it will never end.
This scandal has successfully taken Benghazi off the headlines. However, it seems it will have enough legs to keep it alive until he finally is brought before congress .
However, as just a citizen, he may just take the fifth when questioned. I am not sure how Hillary protects herself in a similar way. She wants to stay blameless for a possible presidential run in 2016.
Hopefully Petraeus’ honor and character gives him enough backbone to tell the whole story when questioned

Your analysis is right on the money, but since vote fraud is well entrenched in the system most analysis has become irrelevant.
Assuming everything somehow gets back to normal and the U.S. endures this troubled time, I wonder how future historians will categorize Obama. I mean the modern press has simultaneously proclaimed that he is both one of the greatest presidents, and yet not only not responsible for his highest appointees, but wholely uninformed that there are ongoing investigations amongst his own team members. FBI investigating CIA, Benghazi, Fast and Furious. It is quite a conundrum.

This is not a sex scandal, this is perhaps bigger than Watergate, and we know how that ended.
This is about the running a gunning running Iran-Contra like operation out of Benghazi, with weapons going to Al Q. And an agency detention/ interrogation operation run in the Mission annex.
Petraeus is now free to speak, remember his first loyalty is to the US military, not 0 or the CIA.
The question is what did he know, and when did he know it.
If by that they mean "he times his scandals well" then no argument here.
Exactly. Love the media marveling in how no scandal or bad news like the dreadful economy and real effects of Obamacare doesn’t seem to hurt this bastard’s image or poll numbers.

Imagine if obama were a Republican and think how you would figure out a ways to blame this whole scandal on him.
Now back to reality. Just apply that solution to the ultra-liberal obama and blame the whole thing on him.

I hope he realizes that keeping quiet will not protect him. It will only assure him of a fatal accident. Well stashed(and duplicated)documents, and thoroughly complete testimony will be his protection...unless his wife murders him, of course. There’s always that.

The guy who is always untouched by scandal is likely the one causing the scandal.
