Their leader (Terry Bowman) does it every day and has even testified against union political fundraising on capitol hill. He's also written several editorials in favor of right to work and vehemently opposes card check. They went to Wisconsin to support Scott Walker in the recall fight. I agreed with him on 5 of 6 ballot proposals which is about as good as it got with FReepers.

The fact that the private sector unions clearly voted against both pro union proposals on the ballot says something. In fact, I personally think Romney hurt himself with them by attacking Rick Santorum for reaching out to them in the primary.

NYT: Prop 2 'An Embarrassing Loss for Labor'

Vernuccio noted that many Democrats and members of private-sector unions saw the amendment as “a power grab by government unions.”

My husband started a new job in the summer, first time we’ve ever been in a union in our lives, and it’s private sector. Can’t speak to anyone else that he doesn’t directly work with but of the ones he does, they were all very vocal regarding their disdain for Obama. Shocked me. I think if Right to Work were implemented, you would see an abundance of people opt out of the unions.
