WASHINGTON—The head of the Senate Intelligence Committee said former CIA Director David Petraeus has agreed to testify to Congress about the Sept. 11 attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) said Wednesday that Mr. Petraeus, who resigned from the Central Intelligence Agency post on Friday because of an extramarital affair, "is very willing and interested in talking to the committee." No date for his testimony has been set.
Ms. Feinstein has been among those in Congress who have complained that lawmakers should have been notified about a Federal Buerau of Investigation probe that led to the disclosure of Mr. Petraeus's affair with his biographer, Paula Broadwell.
But she said Mr. Petraeus's testimony to her committee will be limited to the Benghazi attacks that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three others. Mr. Petraeus was CIA director at the time of the attacks and visited Libya afterward.

This is actually pretty clever. They will have him testify in front of the Senate. The only attacks there will be on Petraeus’ judgement and possible security breaches etc. Of course, they will avoid any difficult questions about Behghazi. Then, when the House tries to get testimony, they will claim he has already testified. The lapdogs in the media will pile on screaming “move on” “old business”.

Well it was a need to know basis and Obama did not think you needed to know!
And do we believe he will tell us the truth? After all he did lie saying it was the video that caused the attack.
Of course he will. That’s why Holder is staying.
They will come to the conclusion that Petraeus was having an illegal detention center in Libya—it was all his fault. Petraeus wouldn’t let Hillary send more security. Obama will be disappointed in Petraeus and tell us that is not who we are as Americans and everybody else will be outraged. The end. Hillary 2016.
They’ve scheduled the general’s testimony so as not to interfere with the burial of his prize racehorse, a part of which he found in his bed last week ...

Yes, it’s the modern version of the “Blomberg-Fritsch” affair, just like Fast & Furious had the same goal as the Reichstag fire and Gleiwitz incident.
I don’t give a flying f**k whether Petraeus testifies befor Feinsteins Senate Cover up committee. I want him to testify befor Issa’s House oversight committee.
I want him to testify at both. As many times as they ask him to come up there. And I want him to remember his oath and what “Duty, Honor, Country!” used to mean to him. Damn the torpedoes spill his guts full disclosure.
