Most people who sit around and complain on Internet message boards in judgement of others and declaring everyone is going to hell usually aren’t politically active.

If being around folks who will actually TELL you what they have faith in and WHY they have that faith, and how YOU can have that faith; turns you off SO badly that you’ll LEAVE conservatism; then it tells ME that your ‘faith’ isn’t all that great.

I did suit myself, and the above is a tacit admission that you couldn't be bothered to answer my question in a direct fashion. I can't count how many times I've told you that someone else came along and answered it. I don't care if you are upset that I wouldn't participate in your perceived "journey of discovery." I just wanted an answer. And I don't really care whether you were in the Navy, because I doubt that's where you learned to act (e.g. the above) like a woman, Church Lady.
One thing that is more amusing to me about the "my god is better than your god"-types, and the "I'm here to tell you my god is better than your god"-types (yes, Mormon missionaries are included), are the "I won the argument because I say so"-types.
And the humorous part is that all of them share the same characteristics.

You can mock me. You can mock God even, and get away with it for awhile. You most certainly mocked scripture. He'll turn away after awhile. Not a good plan. No need to trust me on this. I didn't create the heavens and the earth. Ask a priest maybe? Or a nearby pastor? many of them understand only too well the struggles.
