Somewhere in there it got insinuated that it was a right. If so, then you don’t need this “legal expense” argument to kill the prohibition.

The left in Michigan is mad because the legislature is looking into limiting repeated ballot access to during regular elections.

Our local school managed to pass a bond proposal by having a vote between regular elections when the fewest number of people would be voting. They tried it on the ballot with the presidential primary and it failed. They didn’t put it on the ballot when we had our state primaries only to turn around and have the vote in the middle of September on a ballot by itself and it passed.

Those smug little white “hipsters” around about to discover what America felt like during segregation. Liberals do not mess around in their love of hate whitey.

We got our voter law turned down here in mexifornia that the voters said that 2 fudgepackers cannot get married.

Well, we had a faggot judge overturn it. There are no laws anymore.

This decision is absolutely absurd and has no basis in the Constitution of the United States. Fortunately, Michigan can just appeal to the Supreme Court, and Chief Justice Roberts will ensure that the supreme law of the land is . . . never mind. I hope Michigan’s new affirmative action plans are not too harmful.

Yabut MT-SU's colors are maize and Blue (or close thereto).

When my wife wears her MT-SU (mom) sweatshirt (obviously labeled MSU), folks in MI freak out.

Funny really.

Good news update.

Reaction to affirmative action ruling: Bill Schuette vows appeal, ACLU says political process must be open to all

LANSING, MI - Reaction to a ruling overturning Michigan's 6-year-old ban against affirmative action in public university admissions was quick and fierce Thursday.

The state attorney general vowed to go to the U.S. Supreme Court. The ACLU said the decision reaffirms a cornerstone of democracy.

Actually, I think it opened at about 6:59 am in Jackson County.

One half hour before official sunrise to one half hour after sunset.

It varies each day by a few min and also varies depending on your exact location in the state.

There’s a cable show called “Black to the Future” and I’ll bet they’re planning for at least 4 more seasons.

The court says the ban puts an extraordinary burden on those who have to mount a long expensive campaign if they want to protect it.

Imagine that as the standard for every interference in human life. We'd get rid of a lot of dumb laws this way, sadly only liberal laws will be enforced.
