This looks as likely as anything to pique the USSC’s interest.
I say clearly bogus, even on the stated reasoning since the opposition had no mere shoestring budget at its disposal. How else did the court think a challenge would come if it did, except as a class action through a well funded interest group?

This decision is absolutely absurd and has no basis in the Constitution of the United States. Fortunately, Michigan can just appeal to the Supreme Court, and Chief Justice Roberts will ensure that the supreme law of the land is . . . never mind. I hope Michigan’s new affirmative action plans are not too harmful.
