The invisible hand at work once again as fat-fingered demand dominates union-stifled supply... $8,000 for a single Twinkie... and other offers... It seems, once again, that there are more than a few greater fools who still have no idea just how the bankruptcy process works... will Twinkies be rebranded Bimbettes?

I’m sure they will be produced by someone else. The brand will be sold to another company during the liquidation.
Still on the shelves, here.
Shelf life of 1,000 years....
Seems the author has confused bids with payments.
Democrat Dick Gebhardt an equity owner of Hostess.
I never bought twinkies anyway and now I am so glad.
Mr. Big Labor himself is an equity owner.
How about that?
Well, his dad was a milkman. You can’t eat a Twinkie without milk.
Yes, but if not, they could be a good investment. You could hold on to them for a couple decades, then sell them off for a huge premium. They’ll still be edible.
Governor Chris Christie (D-NJ) soon will be bringing a price-gouging action.
Where's the evidence? He's full of it.
No more Twinkies...somewhere in New Jersey, a governor weeps uncontrollably.
Ah, so you’re saying it’s not the gauging, it’s the GORGING!
8000 are the cheap ones;
I had one of the most frustrating moments of my life. I arrived at a Hostess outlet bakery. A line was out the door. A clerk then locked the door. Someone in front of me opened the exit door and asked why she just locked it. The clerk said they had to get the people inside out, but then they had to restock with the last delivery they’re probably getting. And that they would probably be open tomorrow morning.
The guy behind me said this ruined his Christmas shopping, he was going to give the last boxes of Twinkies to his kids.
I remember when Bimbo (Mexican bakery) bought Mrs. Bairds. Mrs. Bairds continued to make their traditional products, while Mexican themed cookies and cakes showed up in the bakery outlet.
If Hostess is lucky, they’ll be bought out similarly.
If there is not one natural ingredient in a pack of Twinkies...... I wonder what its half-life is inside the package? 20,000 years? hmmmmmmmmm
one was recently unearthed at Jamestown with one of Helen Thomas’s childhood toys.
I cleaned out a local mini-mart today of Twinkies and Ho Ho’s.
I’m rich! I’m rich! lol
