A malfunctioning pancreas, the body’s inability to properly metabolize carbohydrates, both starches and sugars.

They have been wanting to push east and this will be the opening they have been waiting for .

Or maybe the Chinese will come along and buy it up , since they can’t make it China they could at least own it here .

Thanks Unions !

Bimbo owns and operates four bakeries in Texas.

Just as Coca-Cola doesn't bottle out of Atlanta.

ordinary sucrose has half the sweetness and double the carbs ~ of course i'm serious.

BTW, if it's no fructose i don't eat it.

Works for me. They supported Obama for re-election and caused this problem is the first place, so the least the Mexicans could do is get us back our Twinkies (preferably now made with real sugar and available at a lower price)

Here we go:

Cilantro Twinkies
Chilie Twinkies
Margarita Twinkies
Cockroach Twinkies
Hepatitis Twinkies

but a Mexican company could be a lifeline for Twinkies because it would be able to take advantage of access to lower-priced sugar in Mexico.

The over powerful sugar lobby in the USA may have something to say about this. I would expect some tariffs if they’re not made in this country with USA sugar

let me put it this way for you ~ if you are diabetic ~ like i am ~ you get used to NOT consuming any sugar and not much starch either. Those are all sugars, as is sawdust (although it's not terribly digestible).

Sometimes you can't avoid something with sucrose in it, or fructose.

I've observed that after years of doing without sucrose is overwhelmingly sweet, even sickeningly sweet. Fructose, however, is simply sweet ~ and that means there are fewer carbs of sugar i will need to worry about and, besides, it's a better tasting product by simply being less sweet than sucrose.

My post from yesterday:

“Hostess Brands to Wind Down Company After BCTGM Union Strike Cripples Operations
Friday, November 16, 2012 4:55:40 AM · 22 of 87

rockinqsranch to pepsionice

I believe a large bakery, or several such large bakeries operating currently within a few hundred feet over our Southernmost border are smiling today as they see themselves as the new owners of certain Hostess trademarks, and copyrights, and begin shipping into the U.S..

A major bakery left California with good reason (CARB Regulations) a few years ago providing the Mexican bakery Bimbo the opportunity to expand their operation, and fill the void from just over the border in Mexico. Seems to me the same will happen to fill the void when Hostess assumes the dead Cockroach position.

(Hmmmm bad analogy, but...)
