Gingrich on Romney’s ‘gifts’ comments: ‘It’s nuts’
Yahoo News ^

Posted on 11/18/2012 12:15:36 PM PST by Windy City Conservative

"It's nuts," Gingrich told guest host Martha Raddatz on ABC's "This Week" on Sunday. "First of all, it's insulting. This would be like Wal-Mart having a bad week and going, 'The customers have really been unruly.' I mean, the job of a political leader in part is to understand the people. If we can't offer a better future that is believable to more people, we're not going to win."

Newt is an opportunist. He has always been traitorus. That is why he couldn’t win more than 1 state in the primaries.
The voters were smart.

uh, this article is about Newt. Newt won only 1 state because the people knew he could not be trusted.

Good try, but Newt is over. He was over before the primaries began.

.

Get your history straight ...

Newt won two primaries, not one ...

and BTW ... "history" again shows that "no" successful GOP presidential candidate wins the White House ...

without winning the South Caroliona Primary ...

which Newt won by a Landslide against "severely conservative" Myth Romney.

=========================

Yeah ... Newt's just a regular Benedict Arnold ...

1) Won the US House for GOP in 1994 after 40 years in "wilderness"

2) Forced Clinton to accept most of Newt's brilliant CONSERVATIVE "Contract With America".

I'd continue, but I know you're not really interested in facts ...

Check-out my latest Thread about Romney's "bad divine karma" for "vote fraud" in the 2012 election cycle ...

you'll love it ...

Gingrich will go on any media outlet to pay off his campaign debt.

Newt is also the one who coined the phrase, “Foodstamp President.” What a phony! GO away Newt and take both sides of the coin with you.

I agree, and the people on our side that think we can bring out the same old tired baggage like Newt and win are the problem. Just 5 years ago, Newt was talking like a lib. When he entered the primaries, he had nothing in place to actually win.

He enters because it ups his talk circuit status.

It might help if we get behind a conservative who is serious enough to know that talk is cheap, you have to have a machine in motion and start yesterday.

I do agree with what you have said here. I just don’t know if anyone on our side is going to do any of this in a way that will be effective.

I like Newt a lot too, and that hasn’t always been the case, it took me a while to warm to him. I respect him, I think he has a good head on his shoulders, he’s a good spokesman, and I think that he is a conservative. He isn’t always right, none of us are, and even though I say he’s wrong here, I support him nonetheless. I’m glad he’s on our team.

I wish conservatives would stand strong too. Strong as mountains, old ones. I love this country. Always have. Watching this happen to her is breaking my soul. Perhaps this is the destiny of man, to consume his own freedom with the appetite of greed. I just don’t know.

Take care, Christie, God Bless.

Newt, I remember you from your days as a “ Back Bench Bomber”. You were my hero when you ran Jim Wright out of the house. But you are wrong on this/ The plain and simple fact for Mitts loss, is theft, you cannot find a voting place that does not have tales of voter fraud. I don’t know how we will ever have a fair election in this country. So from now on the winner will be the one that can promise the most. for the “Takers”

That's a rather long anti-Romney tantrums considering it is 12 days after the election. But instead of yelling at people here, consider the fact that the media mostly built up Romney in the primaries. The dem crossovers chose Romney. A large segment of frightened and not completely rational Republican primary voters then chose Romney because the media told them he was more electable and he was winning with the crossover votes.

Basically nobody here wanted Romney but many of us got behind him once we were stuck with him. So rather than keep yelling at us, why don't you come up with something constructive.

I don’t care about Romney. This thread is about Newt.

He can’t be trusted because he blows with the wind.

People that have watched him over the years know that. Only 2 states? hah hah. Wowsers!

It is just dumb defending this opportunist. He is always a disappointment.

Romney was spot on. But, the problem is that no one can say the obvious any more.

"Spot on" how? Class warfare is fine when the GOP uses it, but despicable when the Dems do? Newt is one of the few of either party truly interested in raising the underclass instead of leaving it where it is, with no education, no aspirations, no hope of anything better -- for Dems, they are reliable votes; for Mitt, "well, they have the safety net, so I don't worry about them.

Lee Wen Ho affair to the Chinese Americans is like the Dryfus Affair for the Jews in France. That is where we lost most of the Chinese American voters during the Clinton admin. GOP scratch head on why Indian Americans tend to vote Dem. All people of the world except for a small number are not comfortable with Empire US. Attacking countries because they do not behave like us (ala Yugoslavia), attacking countries because they may have WMD (ala Iraq), hypocritical human rights policy (China bad on religious freedom (worthy of trade sanctions), but Saudi Arabia prosecution of non Muslims are ignored), and the list goes on and on and on. Result is many people from Western EU, Russia, Slavic Europe, Asia, Africa and South America are suspicious of the beat the war drum type politicians (tend to be GOP) vs Dems/Libertarians who acknowledge limits to US power. Until the GOP understands that Empire America is contrary to our founding fathers’ principle as well as the road to financial bankruptcy and entanglements, immigrants becoming US citizens will lean Dem over GOP on foreign policy issues alone.

Name calling and judging people will never be the thing. Keep the insults down and focus on the reforms and the rule of law. It will win elections. Let conservatism be your calling card. I am thankful that he decided to enter. He is the only one that can master the message, the reform and the corrupt media. Not bad..you got another like that...where is he/she..he was the only reason I stayed involved..even with his faults..hoping either him or his message of reforms would be front and center. Forgive me, for being hopeful and seeing Mitt as a weak candidate.

He’s against giving away free stuff, but is upset that someone called out the giving away of free stuff? What did I miss?! Mp< I think what you missed is that if the choice is between "free stuff" and being relegated to starving in the street, the despised, sub-human inhabitants of the "safety net," people are going to go with "free stuff." Newt want to give them opportunity, the sort of opportunity that comes with freedom and small gov't.

And he won his own state. Rick pulled out before PA even voted.

What does that say.. The plan was to stop Romney, remember.. then we got stabbed by the santos supporters who were on the bus to get little Ricky in charge. Thank you, thank you very much. Hello Obama.
