SAN FRANCISCO San Francisco may be getting ready to shed its image as a city where anything goes, including clothing.
City lawmakers are scheduled to vote Tuesday on an ordinance that would prohibit nudity in most public places, a blanket ban that represents an escalation of a two-year tiff between a devoted group of men who strut their stuff through the city's famously gay Castro District and the supervisor who represents the area.
Supervisor Scott Wiener's proposal would make it illegal for a person over the age of 5 to "expose his or her genitals, perineum or anal region on any public street, sidewalk, street median, parklet or plaza" or while using public transit.
A first offense would carry a maximum penalty of a $100 fine, but prosecutors would have authority to charge a third violation as a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $500 fine and a year in jail. Exemptions would be made for participants at permitted street fairs and parades, such as the city's annual gay pride event and the Folsom Street Fair, which celebrates sadomasochism and other sexual subcultures.

It’s always the ones who look absolutely gross undraped who want to run around naked. San Franscisco is just reaping the fruits of its hyper-liberalism what with obese people walking around naked and homeless people peeing and pooping all over everything; too bad they don’t like it.

...........
The proposed ban predictably has produced outrage, as well as a lawsuit. Last week, about two dozen people disrobed in front of City Hall and marched around the block to the amusement of gawking tourists and high school students on a field trip. Nancy Pelsoi district ping!

Weiner’s anti-weiner?
At least he’s willing to do the heavy lifting.
it looks like nudity could be banned with the stroke of a pen.
The penile-implant surgery business will probably shrink.
Local stores were probably complaining because their business had gone flaccid.

Perhaps “people who want to think of themselves as good” is more accurate.
This is the primary driver behind a lot of sheeperals’ support of the communists they put in power.
Their driving motivation is to think of themselves as “good people” with the minimal amount of sacrifice.

The San Francisco economy is doing well, and is very popular with young professionals. Lots of software start ups and developers moving in and changing the culture. Office space and rents are climbing and real estate is up over 10% this year (second strongest RE market in the US).
Nothing worse for business than a bunch of aging, repulsive old gay guys running around with nothing on, and residents are looking to clean things up.

Notice as usual they have no intention of controlling or stopping the worst nasty displays of obscenity and vulgarity which are the public gay “pride” events.

Public nudity is also a public health nightmare. Think of the fecal bacteria contamination from gay men whose anal spincter muscles have been permanently over stretched and the resulting lack of control over bowel movements. Any public area where theys ‘guys’ sit can be contaminated, then spread by casual contact from unsuspecting persons. Small children are especially at risk. Bet the SF area hospitals have some nasty stuff to deal with. Can you say YUCK?

Yeah, public nudity would be okay if it were limited to the visually-pleasing ... there aren’t any moral or sanitary issues, only aesthetic ones.
